What does Triggered mean?

A sudden negative reaction to seeing, hearing or experiencing something upsetting or unsettling.

  • Having a traumatic experience brought up without warning.

  • Being suddenly presented with something that reminds you of a bad experience or trauma in your past.

  • Pushed over the edge, to the brink of rage.
